Child safety is not something we consider once and then put aside. It’s an ongoing commitment that requires listening, learning, reflection and action. We continually review our policies, environments and everyday practices to ensure children feel safe, respected, included and empowered.
Our commitment extends beyond meeting our obligations. We want child safety to be visible in the everyday life of our service, in the way we speak with children, the way we listen to them, the environments we create and the decisions we make. Because when children feel safe and secure, they’re better able to explore, build relationships, ask questions and participate confidently in the world around them.
