Our Programs
A thoughtful balance of child led play and intentional teaching, guided by the frameworks that shape quality early learning in Victoria and across Australia.
Play-Based Learning
At Titan Early Learning, play is at the heart of how children learn. It is through play that children explore possibilities, make discoveries, test their ideas and develop a deeper understanding of themselves, others and the world around them.
Our educators create rich and inviting learning environments that offer a thoughtful balance of child led play and intentional teaching. Children are encouraged to follow their interests, use their imagination, make choices, ask questions and participate actively in their learning.
Through play, children develop essential skills across all areas of learning and development. They learn to communicate their ideas, form relationships, collaborate with others, solve problems, manage their emotions and develop confidence in their own abilities. Play also supports creativity, physical development, early literacy and numeracy, resilience and independence.
By carefully observing each child’s interests, strengths and ways of learning, our educators extend their thinking through meaningful conversations, purposeful questions and thoughtfully planned experiences. This ensures that play remains joyful and engaging while also supporting the learning outcomes of the EYLF and VEYLDF, and each child’s individual development.
At Titan Early Learning, every moment of play holds the possibility for discovery, connection and growth.
The Early Years Learning Framework
At Titan Early Learning, the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) and Belonging, Being and Becoming: The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia (EYLF V2.0) are embedded within our educational philosophy, curriculum and everyday practice.
Together, these frameworks guide our educators in creating meaningful, play based and intentional learning experiences that support every aspect of a child’s learning, development and wellbeing. The VEYLDF supports children from birth to eight years, ensuring continuity of learning as they move from early childhood into the early years of school.
Our approach is built upon secure, respectful and reciprocal relationships. We believe children learn best when they feel safe, valued and connected to the people and environment around them. Through these trusted relationships, children develop a strong sense of identity, belonging and confidence.
We recognise children as capable and active participants in their own learning. Our educators support children’s agency by encouraging them to make choices, express their ideas, ask questions and follow their natural curiosity. A thoughtful balance of child led exploration and intentional teaching allows learning to remain engaging, purposeful and responsive.
Through careful observation, documentation, planning and reflection, our educators create experiences that respond to each child’s interests, strengths, abilities, culture and individual learning journey. We embrace diversity and create inclusive environments where every child and family feels welcomed, respected and represented.
Families are valued as children’s first and most influential teachers. By building genuine partnerships and sharing knowledge, we create continuity between home and Titan Early Learning, supporting every child to become a confident, capable and enthusiastic lifelong learner.
Our curriculum supports the five learning outcomes shared across both the VEYLDF and EYLF:
- Children have a strong sense of identity
- Children are connected with and contribute to their world
- Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
- Children are confident and involved learners
- Children are effective communicators
The VEYLDF is Victoria’s framework for children from birth to eight years of age, supporting high quality practice and continuity of learning. The EYLF V2.0 is Australia’s nationally approved learning framework for children from birth to five years of age. Learn more from ACECQA.
School Readiness Program
At Titan Early Learning, our School Readiness Program thoughtfully supports children in the Kangaroo (Leapers) Kindergarten Room as they prepare for their transition to primary school.
We understand that every child develops at their own pace and that school readiness involves much more than early literacy and numeracy. Our holistic program nurtures the whole child, supporting communication, emotional resilience, independence, social confidence, physical wellbeing and a positive disposition towards learning.
Through a thoughtful balance of play based learning and intentional teaching, children are supported to:
- Communicate their ideas, feelings and needs with confidence
- Develop positive friendships and collaborate with others
- Strengthen emotional regulation, resilience and persistence
- Build independence through everyday routines and self-help skills
- Explore early literacy, numeracy and scientific concepts
- Think creatively, solve problems and make decisions
- Listen, participate in group experiences and follow familiar routines
- Develop curiosity, confidence and a genuine love of learning
Our Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers and experienced educators work in partnership with families to understand each child’s strengths, interests and individual needs. Through supportive routines, rich learning experiences and gentle guidance, we help children become familiar with the rhythms, expectations and social skills they will encounter at school, allowing them to approach this important transition with confidence and a sense of security.
Where appropriate, we collaborate with families, schools and other professionals to support continuity of learning. Transition Learning and Development Statements are used to share meaningful insights about each child’s learning, development and wellbeing, ensuring their future school understands who they are as a learner and how best to support them.
Our goal is not simply to prepare children for their first day of school, but to empower them with the confidence, resilience and enthusiasm to embrace the next chapter of their learning journey.
Inclusion and Diversity
At Titan Early Learning, every child and family deserves to feel welcomed, valued and respected. We are deeply committed to creating an inclusive learning community where each child can participate, develop a strong sense of belonging and flourish, regardless of their abilities, culture, language, family circumstances or background.
We recognise and celebrate each child’s unique identity, strengths, interests and way of learning. Our educators work closely with families to develop personalised learning approaches and provide tailored inclusion support that responds meaningfully to each child’s individual needs.
Where additional support may be beneficial, families can access occupational therapy and speech therapy services. We collaborate with families, allied health professionals, Yooralla Inclusion Support services and Kindergarten Field Officers to create consistent strategies that promote every child’s learning, development, wellbeing and participation. These partnerships help ensure children receive coordinated, responsive support both within our program and across the wider community.
Our culturally responsive curriculum celebrates the traditions, languages and lived experiences within our community. We embed First Nations perspectives through daily Acknowledgements to Country, learning about local Wurundjeri stories, language and symbols, exploring Country through nature based experiences, and engaging with First Nations music, art and cultural knowledge.
Our educators also bring a rich variety of cultural perspectives, languages, experiences and knowledge to Titan Early Learning. Experiences such as Mandarin language learning, cultural incursions and excursions, community events, music, stories and celebrations help children develop respect for diversity and a meaningful connection with the world around them. This diversity strengthens our community and helps us create an environment where differences are understood, represented and genuinely celebrated.
Our Educators
