Children’s play, interactions, interests and developing capabilities.
Our role is to create inspiring learning environments where children feel safe, respected and empowered to explore, investigate, build relationships and develop the confidence to become lifelong learners.
Our curriculum is intentionally designed to support the whole child. We recognise that meaningful learning occurs through secure relationships, play, exploration, collaboration and purposeful teaching experiences that respond to each child’s individual development. Every interaction, conversation and learning opportunity contributes to building children’s confidence, resilience, creativity, communication skills and sense of belonging.
Guided by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2.0), our educators thoughtfully design learning experiences that are engaging, challenging and responsive. These nationally recognised frameworks ensure children develop the knowledge, skills and dispositions needed to thrive throughout childhood and beyond, while supporting continuity of learning from the early years through to school.
Our curriculum is guided by the planning cycle recommended within the VEYLDF and EYLF, ensuring every child’s learning journey is intentional, responsive and meaningful. Rather than delivering a one-size-fits-all program, our educators continually:
Our curriculum is guided by the planning cycle recommended within the VEYLDF and EYLF, ensuring every child’s learning journey is intentional, responsive and meaningful. Rather than delivering a one-size-fits-all program, our educators continually:
Children’s play, interactions, interests and developing capabilities.
Interpret what these experiences tell us about each child’s learning, wellbeing and development.
Meaningful experiences and intentional teaching opportunities that extend children’s thinking and build upon their strengths.
Rich, engaging learning experiences through play, exploration and everyday interactions.
Evaluate the impact of our teaching, using children’s responses, family input and professional reflection to continually strengthen our curriculum.
This ongoing cycle allows our educators to celebrate each child’s progress, respond to emerging interests and create learning experiences that are purposeful, individualised and deeply connected to children’s lives.
Together with families, we create a learning journey where children are encouraged to wonder, question, create, solve problems and discover their own potential, building strong foundations not only for school but for confident, capable and fulfilling lives.
